Needle Felted Birdie

This beginner level class in needle felting is your opportunity to try out this unique art form. Lanee will supply all the tools so you don't have to bring a thing. In this class you will learn how to create this adorable birdie with bead eyes.

Iris Folded Cards

Folded paper layers swirl into designs for greeting cards - or framed art. You will make 3 cards from the kit materials. Many patterns to choose from are included in the kit. Additional card kits will be available for $2.50 each. 

Students bring: sharp scissors or exacto knife, small ruler, scotch tape, and a ziplock bag to take your cards home.

Wire Weave a Suncatcher

This unique suncatcher features a variety of glass beads. Kathy will teach the basic techniques of wire weaving to create a one-of-a-kind suncatcher that includes a large glass prism.

Kit cost: $15.00 and includes instructions, glass beads, specialty wire, and miscellaneous supplies.

Fish Leather Buttons & Beads

This class will give students an introduction and hands-on experience using tanned fish skins (sans the odor) to make a covered button and barrel beads. Pam & her husband sold their beautiful fish skin products at Art in the Park and have agreed to teach a beginner class this year for us. Students will first practice using fabric, then complete the projects using fish leather. And no, the leather does not smell like fish.

Kit cost: $25.00
