This year we will be working on YUPO paper to create beautiful landscapes. Explore a number of different methods to apply and move your ink around to create amazing results. In class we will create bookmarks, a 4" x 6" print, and an 8" x 12" print suitable for framing. 

Your kit will include everything you need including a hand-held blower. Bring your own inks if you have them and save $5.

Learn to make an herbal salve that can help heal and protect your skin.  Students will make a 2-ounce tin of healing salve and receive a handout listing some common herbs used for skin and wound care.  Ingredients are natural and organic ingredients.  The salves make great gifts and are also wonderful for self-care after a long day crafting. Instructor 

Students will have their choice of different colors of cowhide leather covers, adorned with a variety of different fish skins, and colored thread to make their journal one-of-a-kind. Choose from a wide variety of fish skins that have been preserved. The inside of this Journal will contain 36 pages of quality acid-free paper which students will fold and assemble into six signatures of 12 pages for a 72-page journal. 

Learn to punch holes in leather and paper and then learn how to hand stitch your pages to the cover.

Needle felt artist Lanee will be teaching a new needle felting class this year that you are going to love! This class will teach you how to work on a flat background and mix different colors of wool roving to create a beautiful landscape ready for framing. 

You can choose between two different landscapes to complete in the class. The needles, wool, and all supplies are included so just sign up to try this fun technique.

Using oven bake polymer clay participants will make a variety of flowers and leaves to enhance a 5-inch terra cotta planter. The flowers and leaves are then glued on the planter with special polymer clay glue and baked in the oven.

Back by popular demand! Kelly and his wife will teach us about the benefits of using goat's milk on our skin and we will produce three wonderful goats milk products in class! 

Kelly will lead us as we learn how to make goat milk lotion, a lotion bar and lip balm! You will even receive containers and recipes so you can make more at home

Not all birchbark looks the same. Just look at this project on the website! In this class you will use different colors and textures of birchbark to create a one-of-a kind piece designed by you. You will stitch your prepared birchbark pieces to your background. 

Fred has many years of experience harvesting and creating art with birch bark and now he is willing to share his knowledge with us.
