Using soft chunky yarn and simple handknitting techniques, you will create a super-soft lap size (approximately 40" x 60") chunky knit blanket. .
Yes- you read that correctly- no needles or knitting experience required! This blanket is so soft and cuddly, perfect for gift-giving, but you may just want to keep it for yourself! Please bring these Supplies: Your hands, a scissor, and 5 skeins #7 chunky yarn, 2 skeins #7 chunky yarn (the ones using the 25 mm hook/ knitting needle) Hobby Lobby has sales every other week, just watch their ad!

Wooly Dryer Balls
You have always wanted to purchase these dryer balls, now you can learn how to make your own! Pam will teach you how to create two 100% wool balls. Wool dryer balls reduce drying times and are a natural alternative to dryer sheets. Choose from a number of creative designs and colored wool to adorn your balls with a colorful flower or even make your dryer balls look like animals!
Needles, wool and everything you need is included in the kit.

Crafter's Tote
You are going to love this sewing project! With over 30 pockets inside and out, this large bag can also be used as a purse, diaper bag, knitters bag or whatever you want.
Karla will take you step-by-step to cut, assemble, and sew a new bag you will love. Students should bring three coordinated pre-washed cotton fabric pieces: 1/4 yard for the straps, 2/3 yard for the pockets, and 1 yard for the main body.
Students also need to bring: matching thread, sewing machine, pins, sewing clothes pins, scissors, a soft tape measure and seamless ripper and a small iron if you have one.

Toothbrush Rug - Heritage Class
You will love this mother & daughter team! Rose’s Toothbrush Rug class was VERY Popular 25 (or so) years ago!
Using “rags” and a needle made from an old toothbrush create a rug, bag, or even a basket, with a looping stitch. You will learn the loop stitch and begin the base of a project. As you proceed you will have time to grow your project, practicing keeping the shape of your work as rows and rows of fabric are added.
This is a time to relax with friends and new acquaintances as you share inspiration and ideas about your new project(s). Rug colors can be scrappy or coordinated, texture can be shaggy or neat, the choices are YOURS! The kit will include; instructions, Toothbrush needle, and ½ yard ball of core fabric. Additional scrappy fabric will be available from the instructors. Students may bring their own fabrics or “rags” (old clothes and/or sheets). Woven cotton, cotton flannel, or poly/cotton fabrics work best. Prewashing is a good idea. For a coordinated look, “Jelly Rolls” may be purchased or grabbed from your stash. A small rug (17” diameter) needs 6 yds of fabric or 1 “Jelly Roll”. An average rug (2’ x 3’) needs 12 – 15 yds or 2 “Jelly Rolls”. Bigger rugs = more fabric! Students should also bring: scissors, a sewing needle, and thread to match your color choice.
